The Buckingham School of Setting Out Engineering was founded three years ago by Ken Nnadi, driven by his long-standing passion for guiding individuals into a fulfilling career in Construction and Setting Out Engineering. With decades of experience in the field, Ken recognised the growing demand for skilled engineers across the UK and made it his mission to train the next generation of professionals.
Ken’s vision is to support eager, enthusiastic individuals—whether they are exploring opportunities in construction or feeling lost on their career path by equipping them with the skills and confidence to succeed in this essential industry.
In early 2024, Ken brought Louis Chidiebere, Peter Maxwell, and Leona Garcia on board to further expand the company’s reach and capabilities. Together, we have worked tirelessly to grow the Buckingham School of Setting Out Engineering into a thriving training provider.
Our flagship programmes include the Setting Out Engineering Course and the ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Surveying. These comprehensive courses combine theoretical knowledge with practical training, preparing students to work confidently with the latest technology on-site. Uniquely, our training takes place on a realistic live construction site, ensuring students gain invaluable hands-on experience in a genuine working environment.
Unlike other training centres that rely on outdated equipment shared between multiple trainees, we provide each of our students with their own state-of-the-art robotic total station—the latest on the market. This ensures they have a true-to-life experience, working as they would on a real site, with the tools they will use in their future careers.
We ensure our students leave not only with recognised qualifications but also with the ability to obtain the relevant CSCS card required to access most construction sites.
At the Buckingham School of Setting Out Engineering, we are committed to helping our students start their careers on the right path—ready to make a difference in the construction industry from day one.
At Buckingham School of Setting Out Engineering, we believe in providing hands-on, practical training that builds confidence, knowledge, and expertise—preparing our students to excel from their very first day on-site.
